Can I bring my own food for my event at West Ridge Event Center? Yes, you may hire a caterer of your choice or prepare your own food. Our kitchen facility may be used as a warming station with two microwaves, two ovens, two refrigerators and one deep freezer. We do not have a licensed commercial kitchen for food preparation. Our kitchen has a back entrance for the convenience of your contracted caterer.
Can I bring alcohol to my event at West Ridge Event Center? Yes, we are a licensed B.Y.O.B. facility which means you may have alcohol on our premises. We do not sell alcohol. You may hire a bartender to serve at your event, or you and/or your guests over the age of 21 may bring in alcohol to be consumed. We reserve the right to exclude or expel any person who, in the judgment of West Ridge is intoxicated or under the influence of liquor or drugs.
What time must my event end? All events reserved at West Ridge Event Center must conclude by 11:00 pm. Clean up does not begin until the end of the scheduled event, but no later than 11:00pm.
Can I have access to the venue the day before the event? Yes, arrangements are made in advance with our staff to give you access to the faciltiy for up to three hours to decorate or make preparations. West Ridge Event Center will set up your tables, chairs, and linens to your specifications for your event.
Can I make payments on my rental bill? Yes, you may make as many payments as you like-INTEREST FREE-as long as the final payment is made one week prior to the reservation date. If multiple purchases are being made by credit cards, the credit card fee will be passed on to the renter; If paying by cash or check, there are no fees of any kind added to the rental fee. Credit card fees are not passed on for a one-time credit card payment.
Is a deposit required to reserve the venue? Yes, there is a $500 deposit required to hold your date. This is separate from your rental fees, and is returned (less damages, if any) after your event. In the event renter cancels, renter forfeits his or her security deposit. If West Ridge Event Center is able to book the venue on your cancelled date, you will be refunded your security deposit, less a $50 administrative fee.
